  2. Pick a clinic and ask for a call

    Tell us what you need and when you are free. You never sit in a hold queue.

  3. The assistant calls and says it is an AI

    First sentence, every call. It confirms it reached the right practice before it mentions you at all, then negotiates a real appointment time.

  4. It reads out a one-time PIN

    The staff member opens receivepin.com in the browser already in front of them and types the code. Nothing is shown yet.

  5. They read a confirmation code back

    The page shows a short number, they say it out loud, and the assistant checks it. Only now does your packet appear on their screen.

Why the read-back matters

Entering the PIN does not release anything.

Typing the code only produces a short confirmation number on the screen. The staff member reads that number back over the phone, and the assistant verifies it before any information is shown. A code captured by a look-alike page cannot produce the right confirmation, so the session ends before a single field is displayed.

There is no account to create, no software to install, and nothing to connect to the records system — the staff member opens a browser tab and types a code. If they would rather not, the assistant simply reads the details out the way any caller would, and the appointment still gets booked. Practices that want the call to resolve without anyone typing can license ReceivePIN Clinic; that part is paid, and entirely optional.

Common questions

Does the clinic have to install anything?

No. The front desk opens a browser, goes to receivepin.com, and types the code the assistant reads out. There is no app, no login, no account, and no integration with their records system.

Does the assistant say it is an AI?

Yes, in the first sentence of every call, before anything else happens. That is a legal requirement in a growing number of places and it is also how the call earns the front desk’s cooperation. We do not offer a mode that hides it.

What stops someone else from opening my packet?

Entering the PIN does not release anything. The page shows a short confirmation code, the staff member reads it back over the phone, and the assistant checks it. Only then does the packet appear. A code typed into a look-alike page cannot produce the right confirmation, so the session ends before any information is shown.

How long does the clinic keep access?

The session expires within minutes and can be revoked at any time. Every view and download is recorded in a tamper-evident log.

Do you need my patient portal password?

No. You build your intake packet yourself in the console, and you choose what goes in it before any call is placed.
